These are pics from Mr. Mrs. Iowa Western. Ok, i didn't win but we had a blast.  As you can see the first contest was done in 80's work out attire.  We each had to do a talent and in the spirit of the 80's I signed  to "I wear my Sunglasses at Night"  It was pretty funny. The girls talents consisted of burbing the ABC, eating a full size French Silk pie in two minutes and much more. I must say the girls had class haha. Anyway it was fun.

PS. i think i have found my true hair color. I died my hair DARK brown which faded to brown. i have had this color for over a month and a half and my roots are not showing so i am guessing my root are the same color. I don't know how long i can obtain the natural look, haha.

I just wanted to inform everyone that the reason i have not posted a new blog in such a long time is that i did in fact conform. That's right i did the facebook thing and is quite addicting. I have had the opportunity to talk to many people from high school that i have not talked to in forever. However i will not give up my xanga because it is my  first love in the "blog relm."

Not a whole lot going on except that it is starting to warm up and my fingers don't turn purple when i walk outside any more, YEAH.  The other thing is i am a nominee for MR. and  Miss. Iowa Western HAha, that should be fun or something. It will not take place until April. I'll let ya know how that goes.

Ok, so i have always liked to be different and never liked to do something just because everyone else was doing it (for the most part) but i am really starting to feel like a "conformer".  I was so agianst xanga and refused to get one for the longest time and as you know i obviously conformed to the the world of xanga. Well,  all my friend here a I-Dub (IWCC) have myspace and i only refused for a little while, i am apparently getting weeker and then i decided to get a myspace (myspace.com/sarahlovelace). Now the delima comes with getting face book our school finally has it and i would like to get it because it is what the majority of my friends from back home have but then i would have all three of these crazy blogs. What should i do, fight the ground or give in?

First of all i just want to thank all of you for the prayers and all the support everyone has shown my family through this hard time.

I now must write to tell you about the stupid thing i did about 15 min. ago.  I was sending an e-mail to my "girls night gang" from high school asking them when would be a good time for us all to get together over break.  I finished the e-mail and added all the "girls night gangs" e-mails to the letter.  Then i sent the e-mail only to realize that the e-mail went to half my e-mail list and not just the "girls night gang". Oppps, so if you received a weird e-mail from me ignore it. SORRY. Ya, i feel really stupid about it.
